Seaside came to the Okatie campus as a young kitten in April. He had been found as a stray with part of his ear missing.  He started out quite shy, hiding under his blanket, while he was in the kitten room. Seaside moved to the cat room as he got a little older. He gradually got comfortable and became more social. He quickly became a staff favorite. Seaside lingered at the Okatie Campus for several months despite being featured on Facebook numerous times. Then one day in early August, a couple came in and fell in love with Seaside. Seaside went home with them and was renamed Otis. A few days after he went home, they sent us several photos of Seaside on a very elaborate cat tree. A happy ending to Seaside’s story.
